Bay or bow: the difference
Both extend outward from the wall. Each drawing shows the window from the front, with its outline from above underneath.
Bay window
Typically three panels: a large fixed picture window in the centre, with a smaller angled window on each side. The look is more angular.
Bow window
Usually four or more panels joined in a gentle arc. The look is curved, and the window can appear wider.
Built as one unit, in Winnipeg
- Frames and window components are built at the company’s Winnipeg facility.
- The whole bay or bow is assembled in-house:
your window leaves our factory as one solid, weather-sealed system
. - You choose the size, shape, configuration, grille pattern and the interior and exterior finish.
